The key figure of the Tekken series, Kazuya has recently shifted into more of an antagonist role recently, but has nonetheless been the mainstay of the series. The grandson of the founder of the Mishima Zaibatsu, as well the founder of the G Corporation himself, he seeks power and to kill his father, Heihachi Mishima. He and his father are also the originators of the “Mishima” archetype in Tekken, which is somewhat similar to how Shotos work in other games, often being well-rounded and being strong in the meta. However, Mishimas are much more technical and execution-heavy than the average Shoto.
