The King of Fighters, Terry is less known in the U.S., but is still an incredibly important part of FGC history along with the King of Fighter series that he is the main character of. The adoptive son of Jeff Bogard, he seeks to avenge his father’s murder by Geese Howard, the crime lord of South Town. King of Fighters should be noted for providing inspiration for the next character and his series, along with allegedly being the game that inspired the casual, party approach to fighting games that is the Super Smash Brothers series due to how technical the series is.
